Just wanted to send my endorsement for the OSHW principles and definition.

This is a VERY valuable sent of guidelines that not only encourage new projects being shared, but also to help those who use open source hardware, much like software, to know what is appropriate and how to treat the original piece of which you are using or distributing.
Considering that most of the progress made in recent years regarding sensor networks or just small electronics innovation has come from the DIY and Hobbiest market, it is a good idea to sign up.
